> Why Wooden Toys?
Wooden toys are naturally beautiful, durable, practical and recyclable! Children love the smooth textures, the smells, and the satisfying weight of Wooden Toys. Even tasting is allowed! High quality wooden toys and puzzles can be durable enough to withstand years of use in a school or daycare, and may be passed down to your children's children.
Wooden toys are quite rare to find these days but no doubt they are better in many respects. Let’s see how wooden toys are better than the plastic toys:
1. Durable: Wooden toys are more durable than any plastic toy. They can be used years after years with little depreciation.
2. No Harmful Chemicals: Wooden toys contain no harmful chemicals whereas plastic toys contain PVC also known as Vinyl which can be harmful to children if they put the toy in their mouth.
3. Memories: Wooden toys gather family stories and build up memories in the mind. When after so many years you get to see your very old toy, as they are very durable, old memories freshen up.
4. Home Décor: Wooden toy can also used as a home décor when compared with a plastic toy. When your child outgrows that toy, you can decorate it on the home wall.
5. Craftsmanship: Wooden toys depict the craftsmanship as compared to a plastic toy. Plastic toy generally do not depict any creativity by hand.
6. Harmless: Wooden toys are harmless for children. Plastic toys can break easily and the edges could harm the little children.
7. Natural toys: Wooden toys have the beauty and children also love the beauty of experiencing the natural beauty. It has a living energy that a child can respond to.
Therefore, wooden toys are considered to be better than plastic toys. They bring joys and refresh memories in the future.

> Selecting Toys
When picking out a toy for a child, imagine just what they will do with it. Does it invite purposeful activity? Decision making? Imagination? For how long will the child play with it? Will it encourage the child to explore, to spend time with it? There are many wonderful Wooden or Cloth Imaginative Toys available to children but often what is missing is toys with purpose. That is why we offer educational and wooden toys.
These Toys lay the foundation for richer work of the imagination.
Imagination is a wonderful tool of humans, but it cannot be created out of nothing. Creative imagination is based on, and directly related to, the quality of sensorial experiences in the real world. A rich imagination enables one to picture a solution (solving a puzzle for example) and to work toward it. The more experience a child has with real purposeful activity and solving problems, the more useful, creative, and effective their imagination will become. For most of the Toys we offer there is a beginning and an end, and the completion of the activity is inherent in the material.
For example then the child has put all of the discs in the box with discs, she has successfully complete a cycle of activity, feels a great deal of satisfaction, and is often ready to repeat the activity.
Eye-hand coordination is developed when it is obvious that a Toy goes together in a particular way, for example using a Shape Sorter, when the cube goes in the square hole and a sphere in the round hole. It is no small thing for a child to learn to direct their muscles to do what their eyes see should be done. And the challenge of such activities helps the child develop coordination and concentration.
All of this must be considered when selecting toys for the child at certain developmental stages.
The use of Wood instead of plastic helps the child appreciate the natural world, the colors, shades and grains of wood, and the varying weight of Wooden Toys in a variety of sizes and densities. Quality shows a respect for the child and teaches the child respect for belongings. A beautiful home or a beautiful world can only be created by those who have learned to appreciate living with beauty.

> Respecting Play and Concentration
One of the most important things we can do for children is to respect their concentration. When the child is engaged in something safe and purposeful (an activity requiring effort of both the mind and body, this is considered an important work, and the adult's role is to respect and protect it.)
As you can see when you tour our site we do sell more then just wooden toys for children. We also have a wide range of unique wooden animated toys.
